Yes, and things seemed to work fine. However the same patch set caused issues with wily on mcdivitt due to changes around the need for CONFIG_DMA_CMA to be enabled. So, during investigations there, additional patches were discovered as well as a bug fix for the dwc3 driver. The current patches in trusty proposed don't break anything, they just aren't enough to get USB working completely on the mustang.
