** Summary changed: - after upgrade from feisty, image distorsioned on screen with resolutions lower than 1024x768 + after upgrade to gutsy, image distorsioned on screen with resolutions lower than 1024x768
** Description changed: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg I use a Dell Latitude C610, with a Radeon Mobility M6 LY graphics card. I've upgraded my Feisty Fawn system to Gutsy Gibbon on 25 September. Then, I found out that when I change my resolution to 800x600 or - 640x480, the image is moved to the left side of my screen with about 2 - inches, and it is distorted on the X-axis. Xorg does NOT crash, and + 640x480, the image is moved to the left side of my screen with about 1/2 + an inch, and is distorted on the X-axis. Xorg does NOT crash, and switching back to 1024x768 gets things back to normal. I personally think it's something about the sync ranges, but you guys are the experts ;) . If you need any more info, just ask for it. I am very willful to cooperate in solving this bug, as I'm craving for some 640x480 OpenArena. xserver-xorg 1:7.2-5ubuntu10 xserver-xorg-video-ati 1:6.7.193-1ubuntu1 displayconfig-gtk 0.2+20070905 linux-image-2.6.22-12-generic 2.6.22-12.39 _________________ Eduard -- after upgrade to gutsy, image distorsioned on screen with resolutions lower than 1024x768 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/145403 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
