Public bug reported:
Ubuntu ships joe-3.7.
3.8 was released which fixes many bugs (including a segfault) and adds a
few minor new features (e.g. it finally uses the last column), but no
big new features.
4.1 contains several brand new features as well.
I've been using 3.8 since it was released this March, without any
problems. I haven't switched to 4.1 yet.
Please upgrade in Xenial to either the bugfix release 3.8 or to the
latest and greatest 4.1 (whichever you prefer). LTS users deserve an
upgrade from a version that's known to contain segfault bugs.
