When connecting my Lenovo T450s to the dock, the screen gets black after logging in and I have the same error message: [drm:gen8_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* The master control interrupt lied (SDE)!
This is with Ubuntu 15.10 and Kernel 4.2.0-19. Updating to 4.4.0-rc4 didn't help. The problem remained.
