It's hard to tell. The Asus A88XM-A has a Asus UEFI BIOS which provided
me with that option, by default it's turned off but I turned it on way
back before this problem and it worked fine until this problem started.
Turning it off seemed to fixed the problem in my case. In your case you
are having a HP BIOS so HP created that BIOS and did not provided you
with that option to switch it on or off.

However since a month I upgraded my system and changed my motherboard
and CPU to a Intel based system which doesn't have this feature called
IOMMU. However with my new motherboard I don't have any problems . Maybe
it's a AMD system based bug or in your case maybe the error is coming
from somewhere else.
