Public bug reported: Original comment: "Had a zip app installed just for the record. Anyways I was downloading a file with the browser and all i get is "Sorry, there aren't currently any apps installed that can handle this type of content" come on that's just silly! Having to whip out wget to dl a file is just frustrating."
Possible bug? I'm not sure if this is intentional or if it is a bug with the browser app, even though I have an app that can handle zip files all I can do is cancel when i get the message "Sorry, there aren't currently any apps installed that can handle this type of content" no download all I can do is copy url and run wget in terminal app. I'm not sure if this is intentional or a bug. ** Affects: webbrowser-app (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1521010 Title: Can't download files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/webbrowser-app/+bug/1521010/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
