it won't really detect it without major doing, but I see windows has a trick for doing it forcing to extend to a nonexistant display then mirroring all the content to the chromecast in which the content going to the tv is first, and content going to the computer is able to be managed- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miGe5u-LFYQ
maybe setting the virtural desktop to extend to the left so over flow starts on the tv - would be a dirty hack - but would make it very nice to throw anything you want up to a tv. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1450436 Title: Configure Chromecast as monitor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-control-center/+bug/1450436/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
