Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

I just tried to update from feisty to gutsy.
The upgrader worked until the hint that some packages aren't supported any
more. When I confirmed the dialog the upgrader hung up. The status line said
s.th like "Waiting for confirmation." (I dont know how its exactly called with
english localization)
Having waited 5 mins for the program continuing, I had to kill the process"
After this i retried multiple times to start the dist-upgrader from
update-manager (-d) with no success.

Trying to rescue the update I figured out that I had to switch to the directory
/tmp/tmpXXXXXX where the upgrader was downloaded and made it using the
text-frontend with typing
./gutsy --frontend DistUpgradeViewText

At this moment its downloading the packages and I hope it will do the
update successful.

My idea what caused this problem is that the application didn't
recognize when the dialog with the note was closed. But I don't know at
which python-file I should look trying to find and fix the problematic
code since I don't understand the structure of the upgrader.
