OK, I have this error with cube etc. turned on (7.04 Dell pre-installed Inspiron 6400).
X11 error: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)?,?% 0 0 But I found a google thread that says this: Try: > mplayer -vo x11 foo.avi This works for me!!!
