Steps to reproduce:

 * Turn off wifi
 * Open settings->Updates
 * It'll show it's checking for updates, immediate pull down the network 
indicator and toggle flight mode
 * This will change the view in settings telling you to connect to the internet
 * Pull down the network indicator and disable flight mode
 * When the device is online again, it'll automatically start checking for 
updates

Actual results:
 * Sometimes you'll see the apps duplicated in the list

Expected results:
 * Always just single entries for each app
