I have Asus X302LA notebook, and 'modprobe -r psmouse' followed by 'modprobe psmouse' makes its touchpad die off even without doing pm-suspend Also I see in dmesg that ETPS/2 Elantech touchpad is initially created as /devices/platform/i8042/serio1/input/input5, and after module reload, it is recreated as .../input292 (but only after first module re-probe, next times nothing happens at all) The script in /etc/pm/sleep.d apparently does not do anything (probably need to re-test it after a fresh boot)
