Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: debian-installer
When attempting an install with the Gutsy beta "alternate" install disc,
upon reaching a certain point, the screen momentarily went black, only
to come back displaying odd colors.

This happened near the beginning of the portion *following* the install
of the base system (installing packages, or such), and happened
immediately after all the xorg-* packages were installed.

The install seemed to continue (based on my HDD and optical drive's
activity), but it was impossible to tell what was being displayed on the
screen.

My laptop is a Fujitsu T2010 tablet with an Intel 965GM.

** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
