Public bug reported:

Please, what can we do to make Xubuntu GNU/Linux actualize the owcloud
client? I've just made a clean Xubuntu 15.10 install, installed the
owncloud client from the repository (sudo apt-get install owncloud-
client) and... according to "General" tab in the client I've got
"Version 1.8.1+dfsg-1ubuntu1" installed.

BUT...

There is a client version 1.8.4 available since July 13th 2015 (!!) and
currently 2.0.2 sice October 22nd 2015.

I was running Xubuntu 15.04 before and the owncloud client package has
not been updated since then (!)

Why?

Thanks!
