Public bug reported: Upon installing the gutsy beta, the titlebar of all windows are extremely large, and the font size is extremely large. At first I did not know what todo, but eventually I figured out that the default resolution gutsy started in was 1024x768 instead of the correct value of 1280x800. This did not initially fix the problem, so I disabled the extra effects (compiz/beryl) which fixed the problem, the restarted the desktop extra effects with no problem, including the additional effects. Settings relating to the theme/appearance show the correct font size on the titlebar, and switching themes had no effect on the problem.
My system is running on a Toshiba Satelite A105-S4134 with an intel video card and 15" widescreen LCD, and you can view the screenshot of the large titlebar below. http://picasaweb.google.com/joshua.c.steele/UntitledAlbum/photo#5114976975903616642 ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Window titlebar large after gutsy beta installation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/145787 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
