When building my powerpc-optimized version of the playstation emulator pcsx the error given above is output at the end of the build in the linking/lto stage.
Before ugrading to the latest gcc 5 packages the build went through fine. That's on a Powerpc Mac Mini G4, Ubuntu Release is No LSB modules are available.
