Then xdpyinfo shows a new (better, not yet quite correct) DPI: screen #0: dimensions: 1920x1200 pixels (334x208 millimeters) resolution: 146x147 dots per inch (the X log (and my measurements) claim it's 332x210mm, but this is close) Also, the fonts return to their proper size.
