Yes, they've even already updated the backported packages in Debian. I think many/most Ubuntu devs may be focused on the work on Gutsy, but severe security vulnerabilities in essential Ubuntu components need to be fixed much, much faster than this. It's not like OO.org is just some minor app from Universe... As Ubuntu/Canonical also has corporate customers in mind, known security flaws in Ubuntu's main office suite should be treated a bit more serious.
