I don't know if this is related, but on fresh home directory (not fresh install), when changing the settings in the "Visual Effects" from Normal to Extra leaves me without window borders. Going to the Config Manager and enabling the Window Decoration Plugin in the "Effects"-section gives me window borders.
As I'm running a quite "old" gutsy system, this may be because of wrong default gconf settings. James, maybe you woant to check if activating the window decoration plugin gives you borders again. -- window frames missing when compiz is enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139733 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
