Pressing Shift+Backspace crashes XGL for me, bringing me back to the login screen. I found a forum post that told me to put the following in System->Preferences->Sessions->Startup Programs: xmodmap /usr/share/xmodmap/xmodmap.us I have a US keyboard, so this doesn't change anything. It also fixes the Shift+Backspace problem (for whatever reason).
