TEST OK on AMD A10-6800K. I followed the steps in message #132 and IT WORKS on my system. The system booted correctly into UNity and I have successfully opened AMD Catalyst Control Center.
My question is: shall I delete the /etc/apt/preferences.d/proposed-updates file or is it better to leave it in place until the fixed packages are delivered in the main 'channel'?
