You're welcome. I restored all of the files to the /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d directory (I had a backup of them) after I followed given in comment #2. Later, I run the command "sudo systemctl suspend" and it's working fine: it suspends the computer, which stays suspended till I manually powered it on.
