Regarding the software issues, yes. Certain programs, such Citrix netscaler gateway, which is used by my corporate workplace for VPN depends on libproxy1, but the version available as of 15.10 is libproxy1v5, and if I force install libproxy1, it forces other software to be removed through dependency on libproxy1v5.
But, that is a separate issue, and Citrix should address that dependency problem, and it is not a fault of Ubuntu. So for now, I'm running a VirtualBox version of Ubuntu 14 which have this problem, as it uses libproxy1 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1506845 Title: Suspected Race Condition on boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1506845/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
