Version: 0.8.6.release-0ubuntu4 Feisty I close vlc using ctrl-x, file > exit and the result is the same, the sound continues after close. I then have to kill wxvlc process to stop it.
It only does this for me when playing a mounted DVD iso. using Open Directory to open the video_ts folder.
