I can also confirm that 3.19.0-31.36~RevertsV2 works, it resolves the issue on a Dell XPS13 2015.
I noticed that the issue isn't resolved if I only install the linux- image package, it is only when I also install linux-image- extra-3.19.0-31-generic_3.19.0-31.36~RevertsV2 the issue is resolved. I wasn't aware that installing the extra package was a requirement.
