Hm, after my last message I spent half of an hour browsing this forum
and looks like I found a solution for this problem in the thread:

The bottom line is: file /var/lib/bluetooth/*/config has to have "mode
discoverable" but not "mode connectable". After reboot my mouse has been
discovered without manual typing "hidd --search". Please report if it
