I can second to that - the error persists until now (2.4.7ubuntu2: bsddb.db.DBInvalidArgError: (22, 'Invalid argument -- /var/lib/apt/listchanges.db: unsupported hash version: 9'), and removing listchanges.db does indeed help - please fix before gutsy release...
