Public bug reported:

typing
avrdude -c usbtiny -p atmega328p -v
gives the (output)
...

avrdude: safemode: lfuse reads as E2
avrdude: safemode: hfuse reads as D9
avrdude: safemode: efuse reads as 7
avrdude: safemode: Fuses OK (H:07, E:D9, L:E2)

without the -v only the last line is displayed. As you can see the last line,
which is the line you typically see, swaps the H and E values, which can be
very, very confusing (you expect your toolchain to be pretty solid).

This was fixed in version 6.1, but 6.1 the package manager is out of date. for
