Hi, I was having the exact same problem. Sometimes the system froze with a kernel-panic (keyboard LEDs flashing), sometimes it just froze without. This happened sometimes after 30 minutes, sometimes it took a few hours. I could not access through SSH either after the system froze. Ctrl- + Alt + F1 did not work, nor Alt + SysRq + k. Only using Alt + SysRq + reisub, or a hard reset helped. No logs or traces were available.
Upgraded now to kernel 4.0.0-040000rc7-generic, not seen the problem since (fingers crossed). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1496262 Title: [Samsung NP530U3B-A01IT] Random hangs / freezes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1496262/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
