Got it working, I have virtualbox but I did not need to uninstall the module to have the new kernel working. The issue is FIXED!!! This is a miracle!!!!
here is my uname -r: 4.3.0-040300rc2-generic I could try to do a binary search to pinpoint which kernel fixed this, would this be useful? thank you!
