And just a small comment to my previous comment: Forget my last comment. This was _not_ related to the fglrx driver. The reason I didn't get aticonfig to work was me not setting the correct DISPLAY. Now I'm back to the 7.1.0-8.37.6+2.6.22.3-11.4 version of fglrx and:
