Public bug reported: I think that it would be really good if there was not just an auto-hide option to hide the Unity Launcher but also a way of getting rid of the Launcher by not just auto-hiding it, but actually turning it 'off'. For this is the reason why I moved away from Unity and to GNOME because I wanted to replace the Unity Launcher properly with Docky, but as there was no proper way of doing this I had to move away from Unity to properly achieve this, but I would have very happily stayed if there was just an option not to use the default built-in Unity Launcher, so I propose a new feature that would allow for you to turn the Unity Launcher off if you want to use another docking program instead of it.
