Public bug reported: Starting with the 3.19 kernels (Vivid), the system frequently freezes in the nouveau driver, with the following lines (w/ out timestamp and hostname) always being reported in "/var/log/kern.log" and/or "/var/log/syslog" just before the system becomes unresponsive and a hard reset becomes necessary.
