Public bug reported:

I was trying to test kdenlive GPU acceleration with the latest Wily daily.
After installing kdenlive, movit and mlt I found that the option to activate it
under kdenlive was greyed out, hence unavailable.
Movit's developer states, that for GPU acceleration to be available one has to
compile mlt with the --enable-opengl parameter.
Is this the case for the ubuntu package?
If not, including movit in the repos may be pretty much pointless as the only
programs (to my knowledge) taking advantage of it are kdenlive and shotcut
through the mlt framework.

Thanks in advance for clarification and/or recompile!
Paul

"To get Kdenlive to work with Movit, you'll need Movit (1.0 is fine, 1.1 is
better), MLT from git, and Kdenlive from git (the movit branch). Remember to
configure MLT with --enable-opengl --enable-gpl."

** Affects: mlt (Ubuntu)
