Thanks for the locale definition file; it seems to compile fine. Since there is a two-letter language code for Lingala available, I'd suggest that the locale is named ln_CD instead of lin_CD. Also, it should be UTF-8 encoded.
$ diff lin_CD ln_CD 6c6 < % Language:lin --- > % Language:ln 15c15 < % Charset: ISO-8859-1 --- > % Charset: UTF-8 I wrote a patch for including the file. I also attached the file to a previously filed upstream bug. Since this adds a new locale, and the FeatureFreeze date for Ubuntu 15.10 has passed, this may not be added to Ubuntu until after the 15.10 release. ** Patch added: "add-ln_CD-locale.patch" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/langpack-locales/+bug/1491880/+attachment/4457037/+files/add-ln_CD-locale.patch ** Bug watch added: Sourceware.org Bugzilla #12676 http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=12676 ** Also affects: glibc via http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=12676 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Summary changed: - add a new language + Add the ln_CD locale ** Tags added: patch ** Changed in: langpack-locales (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: langpack-locales (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: langpack-locales (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Gunnar Hjalmarsson (gunnarhj) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1491880 Title: Add the ln_CD locale To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/glibc/+bug/1491880/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
