We have 14.04.3 now which has the -vivid stack. If you want to prepare the package for that I can look to sponsor if you ping me when it's ready.
We just had a long-ish conversation on IRC about how updating reverse- depends of the LTS stack should be part of that process and therefore be done automatically.
