I have Feisty Ubuntu (GNOME not KDE) on an Inspiron 1100 with Intel 845G graphics chipset and just to let you know, the suggested mod to xorg.confdidn't fix the problem. This only happens after the "Typing Break" widget break ends and normal screen is restored, but inconsistently and unpredictably - although more frequently now. Any suggestions?
