Thank you for your report. Since you had a previously customised configuration in /etc/mysql/my.cnf, packaging did not automatically update it for you, leaving the old parameter behind. Please see the instructions at the top of /etc/mysql/my.cnf.migrated for information on updating this.
This is a local configuration issue so I'm marking it Invalid, but packaging could explain the situation better, which we are tracking in bug 1447944. ** Changed in: mysql-5.6 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1477059 Title: package mysql-server-5.6 5.6.25-0ubuntu0.15.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-5.6/+bug/1477059/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
