As described in bug 676453, the Launcher icon is supposed to fill up as the installation completes. This would make clear that the app is not launchable yet.
Even if it didn't, launching Ubuntu Software Center to its screen for the app would not be useful in this case. There's nothing useful to do there in this situation. ** Changed in: ayatana-design Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: unity Status: Incomplete => Invalid ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid ** No longer affects: ayatana-design ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Matthew Paul Thomas (mpt) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/964580 Title: Icons of currently installing applications should go to Software Center installation screen when selected in the launcher To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/964580/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
