Hi Christopher, Can you please try installing the latest HPLIP 3.15.6 ? You can download the auto-installer package hplip-3.15.6.run file from http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/gethplip.html and install it by running command 'sh hplip-3.15.6.run'.
After the install, run command 'hp-setup' in terminal to configure the fax and print queue for the printer and run command 'hp-sendfax' to send the fax job.
