I have the same issue as #14 I still have "Black screen with cursor" issue, I have tried to redownload and rebuild, i have also tried --update-lxc, but i can't get it to work.
I use the ppa (http://ppa.launchpad.net/unity8-desktop-session-team/unity8-preview-lxc/ubuntu).
