hi, I have the same issue however none of the above fixed it for me: - kernel 4.1rc2 doesnt fix it - booting with bluetooth of doesnt fix it either
it just says connecting and the goes back to disconnected state, exactly as stated above. I also have a Y50 with an Intel 3160.
