Then yes, I think you are right that the layout file is the problem. Please do not respond by email. We want everything to be on the bug report itself so that no information gets lost. If you still have your account from when you created the bug, please use that. If you do not have that account, create a new one at http://www.lyx.org/trac . Then you will be able to comment on bug reports.
