Same as Darek (darekx2) I got no errors when running the proposed fix. But then after I try:
$ LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/nvidia-331 /usr/lib/nvidia-331/bin/nvidia- smi I get : NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.
