Hi Joseph, I've just tested the upstream kernel on my lenovo laptop e450, it works just fine.
uname -a result: Linux e450 3.16.0-36-generic #48+bdw1 SMP Sat May 2 11:20:03 EEST 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Thank you very much! Ubuntu rocks :) P. S.
