I tried manually installing the newest Nvidia driver (100.14.19). It works and I think it fixes the black window bug, but Compiz still fails first time. Loading the compiz fusion-icon program at startup fixes the issue by reloading compiz, the the /usr/bin/compiz script isn't happy about something.
