I got it to sort of work. Here were my steps ... 1. Clicked the restricted driver manager. stopped the driver. It unloaded. I restarted. 2. When it started X failed. So I did the below [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ history | grep aticonfig 65 sudo apt-get install xorg-driver-fglrx 66 sudo aticonfig --initial 67 sudo aticonfig --overlay-type=Xv 3. Then I started X and I could suspend and hibernate. 4. See my config below .... ( You know I don't think X should be working with this configuration ) 5. My graphics are craptacular blurry and distorted and have a lag ..
