I suspect that this bug happens much more often than you think. When the segfault occurs the entire desktop session is killed (including the automatic reporting via ubuntu-bug). Note that I sent in a crash report on this a few minutes ago. This has been happening on my system for over a month.
My use is similar to Liam Parker's. I connect via xrdp over ssh and can run several programs. But after time goes by ... when I try to open a program in a new window, then seg fault occurs and kills my entire session. It seems that I can interact with the programs that are already open as much as I want with no issues. It's the opening of a new window that causes it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/510111 Title: segfault when connecting via xrdp To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tightvnc/+bug/510111/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
