Same here. I use Xubuntu 7.04 on Athlon64X2 and "beagled-helper" i constantly 
using 100% of cpu time.
I think that it is even not indexing anything, since HD use is low or 
nonexistent.

I need to "kill -9" all beagle processes to stop it using 100% of cpu (and it 
makes biger power consuption,
since cpu as a whole cant lower its frequency. (I my case from 1900Mhz to 
1000Mhz) as seen on pictures.
