Same here. I use Xubuntu 7.04 on Athlon64X2 and "beagled-helper" i constantly using 100% of cpu time. I think that it is even not indexing anything, since HD use is low or nonexistent.
I need to "kill -9" all beagle processes to stop it using 100% of cpu (and it makes biger power consuption, since cpu as a whole cant lower its frequency. (I my case from 1900Mhz to 1000Mhz) as seen on pictures. ** Attachment added: "Picture of top showing use of beagled-helper process versus CPU speed." http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9370742/beagle100BeforeAndAfterKill.png -- beagled-helper uses 100% CPU https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/126142 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
