Thank you for the quick answer! I'm running Ubuntu without SecureBoot, i.e. my Boot Mode is set to Legacy. I already assumed that there might be a connection between the bug and the Boot Mode, but I haven't come around "moving" to UEFI. I certainly will try it, now.
