I get this on an Acer Aspire 1642 WLMi as well ... Error Codes I get are
exactly the same as on Acer Aspire 1652.  The error actually pops up
upon initial bootup of the kernel (before after savedefault, boot and
*Reading files needed to boot) but I guess with usplash you only see it
just before gdm starts - Hitting Alt-F1 during early stages of boot
shows it rather clearly.

I doubt it's an acpi issue as I have up to date DSDT for my model
laptop, and pci=noacpi doesn't stop the error from appearing.

I believe issue is related to PCI Express Port

Recently updated to Edgy Knot 2 with Kernel 2.6.17-7-generic and error
still present.

As mentioned, no issues caused by this that I know of, but confidence
drops when you see an error message everytime you startup your Laptop
...
